Eight years after Nicole Fusaro disappeared in Philadelphia, investigators are continuing a major investigation into a house that may hold clues to the fate of several missing women.
Nicole, known to friends and family as Nikki, was 27 when she was last seen in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood in July 2018. Her mother, Diane Fusaro, spent years searching for her daughter and distributing missing-person flyers. Diane died in 2020 without learning what had happened to Nicole.
According to CNN, Nicole’s cousin said police informed surviving relatives that investigators believe she was the woman shown in a video recovered from a property in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood. The video reportedly appears to show Raymond “RC” Horsch strangling a woman with a zip tie.
Horsch, who previously lived at the property, died in 2025. His son, Eugene Horsch, was arrested in June in connection with separate firearm-related charges. He has not been charged in connection with the missing women’s disappearances or deaths.
A wider investigation
Philadelphia police have linked at least seven missing women to the property. Investigators fear that five may be dead, based on photographs and videos recovered from the house. However, authorities have emphasized that they have not yet found physical evidence confirming the deaths of the women connected to the case.
Philadelphia police and FBI investigators returned to the property in October to search for evidence that could help establish what happened. The investigation includes reviewing a large collection of digital material.
A family still seeking answers
Nicole’s relatives remember her as kind-hearted and say she loved animals. Her family hopes the investigation will provide more definitive answers about her disappearance.
Police continue to investigate, and important questions remain unresolved. The allegations and apparent events recorded in the recovered material have not all been independently confirmed.
